Recital Information ✨
ORDER OF ROUTINES
The order of the routines, for each show, will be posted in the lobby later this month as well as emailed to you. Please take a moment to check and make sure your child does not have two routines back-to-back. Please notify the front desk immediately, or email EDC1@ptd.net if there is a problem. The order will be continually updated, so please keep checking. Once the music has been recorded, generally in mid-May, we cannot change the order of the show.
OUTSTANDING PAYMENTS
Unfortunately, there are some outstanding costume bills. Costume money was due March 11th. Costumes are arriving. Students with an outstanding bill will not be able to take their costumes home or be allowed to perform in the recital. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
REMINDER: Students who are participating in the June recital will be charged a drop fee if they withdraw from any class.

Ticket Sale Information 🎟
There will be no tickets sold at the door for the shows on FRIDAY, JUNE 14TH (Alice in Wonderland) AND SATURDAY, JUNE 15TH (Happy Feet)
The last day to purchase tickets online for Icons is Wednesday, June 19th. Tickets will be available at the door at a slightly increased price.
For the convenience of online ticket sales, Encore is charged a surcharge on each ticket that is purchased. The recital ticket cost reflects this surcharge.
Recital Week Reminders ✨
RECITAL CHECKLIST: Your instructor may hand out a recital checklist. Please reference this to put your mind at ease! We ask that you always double check shoe and tight colors.
COSTUMES: Please do not wait until the last minute to adjust or alter costumes. If you have any questions on how straps are sewn or headpieces should be worn, ask your instructor.
PLEASE HAVE YOUR NAME IN/ON EVERY ITEM YOUR DANCER BRINGS! Every year we find shoes or costumes without names and something gets misplaced in the chaos of the show. Please label everything so that we do not run into this issue!
PERFORMANCE-WEAR: It is standard for dancers to wear flesh-colored undergarments underneath their costume, or no undergarments at all. The dancers do not remove their tights, so these act as an undergarment. Make-up is recommended but not required for our dancers in Happy Feet. Make-up is mandatory for dancers in Icons of Music and Dance.
DANCE BAG ESSENTIALS: Please make sure you bring bobby pins, hair spray, hair nets, safety pins, rubber bands, Tylenol/ibuprofen, deodorant, feminine products (if needed), and baby powder. We also recommend bringing an extra pair of tights.
PLEASE BE ON TIME! We ask that you make sure you arrive at the given time for rehearsals.
PLEASE BE PATIENT WITH US DURING DRESS REHEARSAL. There is no way for us to anticipate whatever may happen at dress rehearsal, especially with lighting, sound, props, etc. We are doing our best to keep everything running smoothly and ask that you remain patient with us.

You can register for classes through your portal.
Re-register for Fall 2024! 📅
Our re-registration fee has now increased to $40.00.
Please hand in your registration form and fee as soon as possible! We are already working on individually placing the dancers in their classes for next year and we want you to get into the classes you need before they are full.
