What is Acro?
Acro targets the strength and flexibility to properly perform acrobatic skills. Core, upper body and leg strength will be developed, as well as muscular endurance to execute acro tricks (i.e. cartwheels, limbers, walkovers, handsprings, etc…).
Benefits of Acro
- Encourages self-confidence and self-discipline while learning a variety of flexibility, tumbling, and balancing skills on mats, no equipment is used
- Students work at their own pace in a structured environment to develop and improve tricks
What to wear for Acro
- Form fitted clothing: bike shorts, leotards, leggings and sneakers
- Hair pulled back from face and neck
