Summer Dance Intensives
Our Summer Dance Intensives are designed to expose the participating dancers to a wide variety of dance genres and styles, all while continuing to refine their technique and help them evolve as a dancer and performer.
About Dance Intensives
During the five-day intensive, your dancer will be taking 5 classes a day, with each day being different from the next. On the last day of the intensive, we conclude our week by composing an informal demonstration of what the dancers
learned throughout the week to friends and family!
The classes are taught by Encore staff, as well as guest teachers who have had successful careers in dance, theater, and beyond!
These Intensives will be held Monday thru Friday from 9:00 – 3:00. The Dance Intensive will cover Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, Modern, Acro, Stage Make-up, Improv, Terminology, Musical Theatre, African, Yoga, Salsa,etc. The Ballet Intensive will focus on Ballet. The Intensives will be taught by Encore Instructors as well as Guest Instructors. The Intensives will be offered at different times over the summer. You may sign up for 1 or more sessions.
