Studio News You Should Know
RECITAL TICKETS WILL BE GOING ON SALE SATURDAY, MAY 4TH AT 8:00 AM — You may purchase them online until Wednesday, June 19th at 8:00 AM. Because we sell tickets online, we are charged a surcharge for each ticket purchased. Recital tickets are $19.00 each for all shows, which reflects the surcharge. You may also purchase tickets at the door, but the
price increases to $23.00 each. The website to purchase tickets from is: www.recitalticketing.com/20403
Recital packets were handed out this month. If you did not pick yours up yet, please be sure to go to the front desk to get yours, as well as pick up your free recital t-shirt and your included pair of tights. Double check the dates and times of all things recital-related and PLEASE mark it on your calendars! All the information in the packet is VERY IMPORTANT!
The order of recital routines will be posted in the lobby later this month. We ask that you take a moment to check your dancers’ order of routines and make sure that they are not back to back. Please notify us immediately if your dancers’ routines are back to back! The order will continue to be updated and re-posted, so try to check every week, just to be sure. Once we finalize the order in May, changes can not be made.
We are offering some exciting dance camps and dance intensives this summer! More detailed information & registration is available at the front desk. Remember to register early — there are a limited amount of spots available!
We will also be offering dance class sessions over the summer, as well as some new programs during July & August. You can register for these online through your new Encore portal.
All costume orders have been placed for our 2019 production “It’s Showtime!” on June 21st, 22nd, and 23rd. The costumes have already started to arrive and trying on the costumes is always one of our favorite things about the dance season! A few reminders before we start to bring in costumes…
- There are no refunds on costumes!
- The deadline to order additional pairs of tights is May 6th. Order forms are available at the front desk!
- Please notify us if you did not receive your costume order breakdown sheet!
Reminders!
SET UP YOUR ENCORE PORTAL! We recently sent out an email with instructions on how to set up your new online portal. This is extremely important for you to do because we will only be registering returning students through their online portals for next year. You also now have the ability to update or change your account information, so be sure to take care of that because if your payment bounces back, you will be charged a $30.00 fee. We are no longer changing account information at the front desk.
When road conditions are questionable, you can call the studio at (717) 569-1828 or check our Facebook, Instagram, website, or check your email to see if the studio is closed. Please note that we do not always follow school cancellations because road conditions can change by the afternoon/evening. All classes cancelled due to bad weather can be made up using the make-up schedule we provide.
