Studio News You Should Know
During the holiday break, we were busy placing costume orders for our show in June! Please make sure you put down your $40.00 per class costume deposit to ensure that your child’s costume has been ordered. If the deposit was not paid for, a costume was not ordered yet.
On February 2nd, Encore Dance Center, in collaboration with Millersville University and Excentia/S. June Smith, will be
presenting our fundraiser & benefit performance titled Be the Change! This month, we are displaying several different types of baskets in the lobby that you can purchase $1.00 raffle tickets for. All baskets were donated by our Encore Performance
Company groups as well as local businesses. ALL PROCEEDS FROM THE RAFFLE GO DIRECTLY TO BE THE CHANGE!
As each month passes by, attendance becomes more and more crucial to your dancer’s progress. Please do your best to attend your classes regularly, especially because the teachers will start to work on their recital routines in these upcoming months! If you do need to miss a class, please call us at the studio to make us aware, we always appreciate it!
Reminders!
Costume balances will be received shortly. If you have any questions regarding your costume bill or if you believe
we have made an error, please notify us immediately. Also, please remember that one pair of tights will be included
with your costumes. If you need additional pairs of tights, you can purchase them at the front desk!
Encore Popsockets are for sale at the front desk for $10.00! All proceeds will go to Be the Change!
News & Updates
Thank you to the dancers who attended emme dance collective’s Master Classes on December 16th! They raised over $600.00 and Miss Emily & Miss Melissa (the directors of emme dance collective) donated it all to Be the Change for Excentia’s S. June Smith Center.
Congratulations to Alyssa Wingenroth for winning the Encore silver sparkle backpack! We were able to raise another $211.00 for Be the Change through the raffle for the backpack!
Thank you for your toy donations to the Toys for Tots program! The boxes were filled with toys!!!
